Industrial production volume index, May 2011

According to the State Statistical Offce data, the industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2011, in comparison with May 2010, was 106.9.

The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in May 2011, in comparison with May 2010, increased by 27.3%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 11.9%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 24.4%.

The industrial production by Main Industrial Groups in May 2011, in comparison with May 2010, was higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 12.2%, Capital goods industries by 87.0%, Durable consumer goods industries by 103.9% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 10.2%, but lower in Energy by 30.1%.

The industrial production volume index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - May 2011, in comparison with January - May 2010, was 111.8.
