Industrial production volume index, March 2010

According to the State Statistical Offce data, the industrial production volume index in March 2011 in comparison with March 2010 was 124.5.

The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2011 in comparison with March 2010 increased by 24.4%, in the section Manufacturing industry increased by 28.9% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply increased by 4.1%.

The industrial production by Main Industrial Groups in March 2011 in comparison with March 2010 was higher in Energy by 31.8%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 23.6%, Capital good industries by 47.4%, Durable consumer goods industries by 150.2% and Non-Durable consumer goods industries by 9.3%.

The industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - March 2011 in comparison with January - March 2010 is 113.8.
