According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in December 2019, in comparison with December 2018, was 94.1.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in December 2019, in comparison with December 2018, decreased by 24.2%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 3.1%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 12.1%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in December 2019, in comparison with December 2018, was higher in Capital goods by 2.0%, but lower in Energy by 17.3%, Intermediate goods, except energy by 7.1%, Durable consumer goods by 16.3% and Non-durable consumer goods by 4.8%.
The industrial production index in the period January - December 2019, in comparison with January - December 2018, was 103.7.
