According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in September 2019, in comparison with September 2018, was 106.1.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2019, in comparison with September 2018, decreased by 7.4%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 4.6%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 32.2%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2019, in comparison with September 2018, was higher in Energy by 25.5%, Capital goods by 6.4%, Durable consumer goods by 14.7% and Non-durable consumer goods by 7.0%, but lower in Intermediate goods, except energy by 3.5%,
The industrial production index in the period January - September 2019, in comparison with January - September 2018, was 105.6.
