According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in August 2019, in comparison with August 2018, was 109.8.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in August 2019, in comparison with August 2018, decreased by 1.4%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 4.5%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 47.9%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2019, in comparison with August 2018, was higher in Energy by 39.8%, Intermediate goods, except energy by 0.5%, Capital goods by 14.0% and Durable consumer goods by 25.4%, but lower in Non-durable consumer goods by 0.6%
The industrial production index in the period January - August 2019, in comparison with January - August 2018, was 105.5.
