Increase of industrial production in June 2010, in comparison with the same month of the previous year, by 5.4%

According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in June 2010, in comparison with June 2009, was 105.4.

The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in June 2010, in comparison with June 2009, increased by 19.9%, in the section Manufacturing industry it remained at the same level and in the section Electricity, gas and water supply it increased by 49.7%.

The industrial production by Main Industrial Groups in June 2010, in comparison with June 2009, was higher in: Energy by 31.8%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 4.5%, Capital goods industries by 0.6% and Durable consumer goods industries by 4.3%.

The industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - June 2010, in comparison with January - June 2009, was 94.7.
