Decrease of industrial production in February 2010, in comparison with the same month of the previous year, by 13.1%

According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in February 2010, in comparison with February 2009, was 86.9.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in February 2010, in comparison with February 2009, increased by 0.9%, in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 20.7% and in the section Electricity, gas and water supply it increased by 31.2%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groups in February 2010, in comparison with February 2009, was bigger in Energy by 6.4%, but lower in: Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 15.7%, Capital good industries by 33.5%, Durable consumer goods industries by 19.0%, and Non-Durable consumer goods industries by 18.3%.
The industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January - February 2010, in comparison with January - February 2009, was 91.7.
