According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in November 2016, in comparison with
November 2015, was 95.1.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in November 2016, in comparison with November 2015, decreased
by 16.8%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 5.7%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning
supply it increased by 21.6%.
The decrease in the section Manufacturing is mostly due to decreased production in the divisions Manufacture of food products,
Manufacture of beverages, Manufacture of chemicals and chemical products, Manufacture of basic metals, Manufacture of
fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, Manufacture of electrical equipment and Manufacture of
furniture.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in November 2016, in comparison with November 2015, was higher in
Energy by 8.5%, Capital goods by 4.0% and Durable consumer goods by 2.3%, but lower in Intermediate goods, except energy
by 7.5% and Non-durable consumer goods by 10.2%.
The industrial production index in the period January - November 2016, in comparison with January - November 2015,
was 103.4.
