Industrial production volume index, August 2014

According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in August 2014, in comparison
with August 2013, was 101.3.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in August 2014, in comparison with August 2013,
decreased by 11.8%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 11.2%, while in the section Electricity,
gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 46.6%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2014, in comparison with August 2013, was higher
in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 3.8%, Capital goods industries by 46.9% and Non-durable
consumer goods industries by 7.7%, but lower in Energy by 42.8% and Durable consumer goods industries by
10.1%.
The industrial production index in the period January - August 2014, in comparison with January - August 2013, was
104.3.
