According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in September 2022, in comparison with September 2021, was 99.5.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2022, in comparison with September 2021, decreased by 33.3%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 5.5%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 2.0%.
The increase in the section Manufacturing is mostly due to increased production in the divisions, Manufacture of textiles, Manufacture of wearing apparel, Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical product and pharmaceutical preparations, Manufacture of electrical equipment, Manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. and Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2022, in comparison with September 2021, was higher in Capital goods by 49.9%, Durable consumer goods by 25.4% and in Non-durable consumer goods by 2.8%, but was lower in Energy by 5.2% and Intermediate goods, except energy by 24.7%.
The industrial production index in the period January - September 2022, in comparison with January - September 2021, was 100.9.
