108.5.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in May 2022, in comparison with May 2021, increased by 5.6%, in the
section Manufacturing it increased by 4.6%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by
66.0%.
The increase in the section Manufacturing is mostly due to increased production in the divisions, Manufacture of food products,
Manufacture of textiles, Manufacture of wearing apparel, Manufacture of chemicals and chemical products, Manufacture of basic
pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, Manufacture of rubber and plastic products, Manufacture of fabricated
metal products, except machinery and equipment, Manufacture of electrical equipment and Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers
and semi-trailers.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in May 2022, in comparison with May 2021, was higher in Energy by 58.3%,
Intermediate goods, except energy by 3.3%, Capital goods by 8.7%, Durable consumer goods by 20.4% and in Non-durable consumer
goods by 1.9%.
The industrial production index in the period January - May 2022, in comparison with January - May 2021, was 102.9.
