According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in March 2014, in comparison with March 2013 was 100.6.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2014, in comparison with March 2013, decreased by 3.2%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 4.9% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 18.2%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in March 2014, in comparison with March 2013, was higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 13.1% and Capital good industries by 3.8%, but was lower in Energy by 17.2%, Durable consumer goods industries by 8.1% and Non-Durable consumer goods industries by 0.2%.
The industrial production index in the period January - March 2014, in comparison with January - March 2013, was 103.0.
