According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in January 2014, in comparison with January 2013, was 106.4.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in January 2014, in comparison with January 2013, decreased by 1.1%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 12.1%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 9.9%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in January 2014, in comparison with January 2013, was higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 14.5%, Capital goods industries by 9.6%, Durable consumer goods industries by 40.5% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 10.4%, but lower in Energy by 13.3%.
