Yesterday, in the premises of the State Statistical Office, the second meeting of the Steering Committee of the Twinning project “Support to the State Statistical Office for capacity building and improving compliance of statistics with EU standards” took place. The members of the Steering Committee discussed and adopted the draft report on activities realised and results achieved during the second quarter of the Project. Besides the regular participants and project leaders, Ms. Blagica Novkovska, Director General of the State Statistical Office, and Mr. Ringo Raupach, project leader from the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, the meeting of the Steering Committee was also attended by H.E. Ms. Gudrun Steinacker, Ambasador of Germany to the Republic of Macedonia, and Mr. Roderich Egeler, President of the Federal Statistical Office of Germany.
