Yesterday, at the State Statistical Office, a meeting was held of the Steering Committee of the Twinning project "Support to the State Statistical Office for capacity building and improving compliance of statistics with EU standards". The members of the Steering Committee discussed and adopted a draft-report on the activities performed and results achieved in the first quarter of the Project. This meeting of the Steering Committee, besides the permanent members and the project team leaders, Ms. Blagica Novkovska, Director of the State Statistical Office, and Mr. Ringo Raupach, project leader from the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, was also attended by Ms. Claudia Junker from the Statistical Cooperation Unit of Eurostat.
