Seventh meeting of the Steering Committee of the Twinning project “Support to the State Statistical Office for capacity building and improving compliance of statistics with EU standards”

Today, at the premises of the State Statistical Office, the seventh meeting of the Steering Committee of the Twinning project “Support to the State Statistical Office for capacity building and improving compliance of statistics with EU standards” took place.
 
The members of the Steering Committee adopted the draft report on activities realised and results achieved during the seventh quarter of the Project.
 
At the meeting, Ms. Blagica Novkovska, Director General of the State Statistical Office, informed the participants that all the activities planned for the implementation phase of the supply contract have been completed and the Contract for developing an application for thematic maps has been signed with the selected firm.
 
Besides the regular participants and project leaders, Ms. Blagica Novkovska, Director General of the State Statistical Office, and Mr. Ringo Raupach, project leader from the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, the meeting of the Steering Committee was also attended by Mr. Roderich Egeler, President of the Federal Statistical Office of Germany and Mr. Bernd Stoertzbach from the Federal Statistical Office of Germany.
