Today, at the premises of the State Statistical Office, the sixth meeting of the Steering Committee of the Twinning project “Support to the State Statistical Office for capacity building and improving compliance of statistics with EU standards” took place.
The members of the Steering Committee adopted the draft report on activities realised and results achieved during the six quarters of the Project. Since the beginning of the project, 60 missions have been implemented, i.e. 74.1% of all planned missions have been completed. The Project Steering Committee evaluated that the activities are being realised in accordance with the Working Plan of the Twinning contract.
At the meeting, Ms. Blagica Novkovska, Director General of the State Statistical Office, informed the participants about the status of the other two contracts from IPA 2009, supply contract for the IT system for back-up and the contract for creation of software solution for online filling of statistical questionnaires.
