Balance of oil by months, 2008

According to the State Statistical Office data, in 2008, in the Republic of Macedonia, were imported 1 055 850 tonnes of Crude Oil, consumed for production of Petroleum Products.

There are 755 672 tonnes of Available Petroleum Products, which consist of: 65 314 tonnes of LPG, 118 236 tonnes of Motor Spirit, 6 144 tonnes of Kerosenes, Jet Fuels, 339 096 tonnes of Gas/Diesel Oil, 102 142 tonnes of Residual Fuel Oil, 92 459 tonnes of Petroleum Coke and 32 281 tonnes of Other Petroleum Products.

The biggest Petroleum Products consumers in 2008 were: Transport with 392 930 tonnes, Industry with 207 165 tonnes and 120 363 tonnes for Energy transformation (production of Heat and Electrical energy).
