In 2008, 87 persons have gained the title "Doctor of science"

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in 2008, 87 persons have gained the title "Doctor of science".

25.3 % of doctorate holders have gained the doctorate in the field of medical science, as well as in humanities sciences, while the rest have gained the doctorate in the field of social sciences-24.1%, natural-mathematics, technical-technological and biotechnical sciences.

In the total number of the Doctors of sciences, the participation of the female that have gained the title Doctor of sciences during the 2008, was 44 candidates or 50.6 %.

From the total number of the persons that have gained the title Doctor of sciences, 55.2 % works in education activity, 19.5 % in health activity and the rest are working in other activities.
