Increased number of accused and convicted adult perpetrators in the Republic of Macedonia in 2009

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in 2009 in the Republic of Macedonia, the number of reported adults - known perpetrators was 15511 and compared with 2008 it increased by 0,3%.

In 2009, compared with 2008, the number of convicted adult perpetrators increased by 3,1%, and the number of accused adult perpetrators increased by 5,3%.

The number of reported juveniles - perpetrators of criminal offences in 2009 was 1519, and compared with 2008 it increased by 12,1%.

In 2009, compared with 2008, the number of convicted juveniles - perpetrators of criminal offences increased by 4,6%.
