PILOT CENSUS OF POPULATION, HOUSEHOLDS AND DWELLINGS IN THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA, 2009

State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia in the period from 15 to 30 May 2009 will conduct the pilot Census of population, households and dwellings.

The objective of the pilot Census is to test methodological instruments and organization for conducting 2011 Census of population, households and dwellings.

In pilot Census will be covered around 2000 households and 10.000 persons in 20 randomly selected enumeration areas in three enumeration regions: Skopje, Polog and East region.

Randomly selected households in the period from 15 to 30 May, will be visit from authorized enumerators from State Statistical Office. All selected households should answer to all questions by enumerators.

The data, which will be collected in pilot Census will not be published and will be used only for statistical purposes.
