Special Data Dissemination System
The Republic of Macedonia subscribed to the Special Data Dissemination Standard
– (SDDS), established by the International Monetary Fund on 21st of November 2011.
The State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia, as a coordinator,
in a joint activity with the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance, passed the
observing period for subscribing to SDDS successfully and provided updated information
for the National Summary Data Page. This standard serves to guide countries that
have, or that might seek, access to international capital markets in the dissemination
of economic and financial data to the public.
The National Summary Data Page - NSDP is posted on the website of the
State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia and includes macroeconomic
indicators (data categories) related to the four sectors of the national economy
– Real Sector, Fiscal Sector, Financial Sector, External Sector as well as for the
Population.
Pages with the national metadata are included and posted on the IMF’s
Dissemination Standards Bulletin Board – DSBB website.
The Advance release calendar (ARC) is included on the (IMF's website)
and comprises provisional information concerning the timing of the
data releases for a four months in advance.
