Livestock production, 2016

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the production of cow's milk in 2016 was 403044 thousand litres, which is
11.6% more than in 2015.
An increase of 0.8% in 2016 was registered in the production of sheep's milk, while the production of goat's milk grew by 24.2%
compared to the previous year.
The total production of meat increased by 2.7%, and pork production was up 18.1% on the previous year. The production of other
types of meat declined compared to the previous year.
Regarding the other livestock products, in 2016, in comparison with 2015, there was a decrease in the production of wool and
eggs.
