Average monthly net wage paid per employee

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in April 2016,
compared to April 2015, was 102.8.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Arts, entertainment
and recreation (30.7%), Construction (12.7%) and Professional, scientific and technical activities (12.1%).
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors:
Arts, entertainment and recreation (35.1%), Professional, scientific and technical activities (8.8%) and Financial and insurance
activities (5.0%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in April 2016 was 22 356 denars.
In April 2016, 1.3% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
