According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the II quarter of 2012, the labour force in the
Republic of Macedonia numbered 942 420 persons, of which 648 200 or 68.8% were employed, while
294 220 or 31.2% were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 56.5, the employment rate was 38.8, while the unemployment rate was
31.2.
In the text of the news release Active Population, II quarter of 2012, the data on the employment rate are corrected from 38.3 to 38.8, while the data in the tables remain unchanged.
