Constitutive Session of the Statistical Council

The newly appointed members of the fourth Statistical Council held their first constitutive session on 28.05.2012.

The president of the Statistical Council, Prof. Blagoja Markoski, PhD, and the Director General of the State Statistical Office, Ms. Blagica Novkovska, MSc, welcomed the present members and wished them successful work.

The Council represents an expert advisory body to the state statistics. It has a President and 14 members appointed and dismissed by the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.

The Director General of the Office is an ex officio member of the Council. The members of the Council are appointed for a four-year term.
