Information regarding the census activities

 After the termination of the Census of Population, Households and Dwellings 2011, the State Statistical Office continues with activities related to the Census, which are prescribed by the adopted Law on Cessation of the Validity of the Law on Census of Population, Households and Dwellings 2011.

There are ongoing activities for collecting census material from the field and returning all other documentation, both technical and financial. This documentation will represent a basis for calculating the compensation of participants in the Census and for reimbursement of costs actually incurred in the execution of census activities.

The collection of the entire census material and documentation is planned to be completed by 25.10.2011.

According to the provisions of the Law on Cessation of the Validity of the Law on Census of Population, Households and Dwellings 2011, the State Statistical Office shall, within three months, prepare and submit to the Government of the Republic of Macedonia a financial report regarding the expenditures on census-related activities.

The State Statistical Office will inform the public about further activities in a timely and appropriate manner.
