Director General of the State Statistical Office, Ms. Blagica Novkovska, MSc., realised a meeting with a delegation from the Agency for Minority Rights Realization, led by Ms. Vesna Babic-Petrovski, Director of the Agency, on 5 September. The meeting was at the premises of the State Statistical Office.

 

The coordination meeting was held in order to agree on joint activities regarding the forthcoming Census of Population, Households and Dwellings in the Republic of Macedonia 2011, for the purpose of providing quality and timely information to all residents of the Republic of Macedonia.

 

At the meeting, it was agreed that the State Statistical Office should provide expert assistance and support for the campaign of the Agency, under the slogan "My community, my home - Macedonia", which is aimed at raising awareness about the rights of minorities that constitute less than 20% of the total population of the Republic of Macedonia.
